Licensees are required to complete 15 hours of continuing education annually, including 3 hours of ethics.
10 Hours of c.e. are required every year if licensed for more than 20 years, including 3 hours of ethics.
CE is not required for a licensee's first renewal.
Limited subagents need only 5 hours of P/C courses. Ethics is NOT required.
Agent's renewal fees and continuing education must be submitted to GA State Dept. by November 1, BUT continuing education may be completed by December 31 with a $15 late renewal fee.
Licensees can carryover ½ of required hours. If 10 hours required, they can carryover 5 credits.
General courses may be repeated every 5 years. Ethics hours may be repeated every year or every other year.
Exams must be monitored by a disinterested third party.
Course provider is responsible for reporting course completion to the state.

- Exam must be proctored by a disinterested third party
- Proctor must be present during entire length of final exam
- After completing and submitting exam online, a downloadable version of the Affidavit for Test Administrator form must be printed out from the computer which the exam was taken and signed by the proctor.
